Mookaite (Australia)

Colorful Mookaite is neither a Jasper or a Chalcedony. Mookaite is actually a local, unofficial name given to a type of silicified porcelainite found only in a specific geological formation (known as the Windalia Rediolarite) in Western Australia.These paticular tumbles are mostly smooth, but do have some dents and pitting. Each piece averages 3/4".

According to The Gemstone Healing Guide, A Healing Apothecary, Mookaite aids in communications with animal companions and those who have crossed over/transitioned. It also helps during the grieving process for those who feel "left behind".

Mookaite is z great stone to utilize when you have decisions to make. It helps ease feelings of lonliness and grounds excess energy.

Physically, Mookaite can ease water retention (Edema) and increase circulation.

Most of these tumbles are a dark burgandy in color. I do have a few more colorful pieces, so if you have a preference, please let me know.
