Magnetite (Octahedral) Raw

These totally natural Magnetite Octahedrons are natures way of maintaining Polarity. Magnetite is a natural magnetic (but NOT the kind you can stick on the fridge) and has a powerful positive/negative polarity. These do vary in size from 1/4" to 1/2".

The crystals themselves look very similar to Spinel(octahedrons)and in fact is a member of the Spinel Group. Many are complete, others may have smoothed tips where they were contacted to the host rock. You may have heard of Lodestone. This is simply tumbled Magnetite.
