That chance came for me last year, when I found two amazingly dark, intense, solid green Epidote crystals. Wowza! I wanted to learn more, but as things sometimes happen, other experiences vied for my attention and the Epidote Crystals were put on the website for sale and I went on to other things.

Today, I was called to make the time to listen to my lovely little Epidote. And honestly, when you are called by a crystal (or in my case, called out! LOL) then I suggest you listen. Because there is a message that needs to be heard and to not listen, or to be too busy? Is telling your higher self and the energy of that crystal that you just don’t have the time.

I find it so funny in a way that most of the crystals I have communicated with lately have such a strong message. I realized today, that in my own growth, I have often said that I do not get the subtle, that I have to be hit over the head with a spiritual 2 x 4. Sometimes, I just miss things, my awareness is lacking, my time divided between so many things. And today, as with the last few crystals I have chatted with, Epidite has been VERY intense, VERY loud and VERY specific. Message received! LOL

And in a way, that is the theme for Epidote. MAKE THE TIME! You see, things are not always as they appear at face value. When you look at this Epidote crystal, what you may see is a dark green, almost black solid crystal. Intense, yes. But if you hold the crystal, turn it in the light, what you may see is a flash of bright green, a sparkle, a surprise! If you do not take the time, you will miss it!

Epidote is a very earthy crystal, born from the earth, raised by the earth and dedicated to the earth. It connects with all living things with the energy that comes from the earth. These crystals are wonderful support for those who work with plants and vegetation or work with plants and herbs for healing. Epidote can also be used in rituals to aid in the healing of Earth herself.

Epidote shows me a magical forest, filled with fairies and sprites, massive trees, incredible foliage and sprinkles of sunlight. Wonderment, awe, and……………responsibility. Epidote is a reminder that we must be responsible for our actions and we must stand firm against those who do harm to our Mother Earth. Epidote reminds us that “if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.”

Epidote is also a core heart crystal. What I mean by that is when I take Epidote into my hand, the energy goes straight into the core of my being, my heart center, my authentic self. The authentic self is devoid of labels ( I am a personality, I am a writer, I am a healer, I am a artist, I am, I am, I am……….). The authentic self, for me, means our higher self, our Divine Self, the part of us that has chosen to come into this lifetime to have experiences, and many times very specific experiences. Someone once explained it to me as, the Divine choosing to learn what it is, through experiencing what it is not.

So, if you are questioning what is your purpose or what you are supposed to be doing with your life? Epidote can be a real teacher for you. And as with many of the crystals I have had conversations with, Epidote energy is willing to aid you in your understanding of earthly things, but it WILL NOT do the work for you. Make the time.

Epidote carries the energy of healing. Physically, the energy is often used to help bolster the bodies own healing energies. For instance, if you or someone you know/love has undergone any type of invasive procedure (chemo, radiation, surgery, testing, etc) that traumatizes the body, Epidote can reduce the trauma to the body while enhancing its healing capabilities.

What I feel to be true here, and verified by the Epidote itself, is that Epidote is to be used for deep emotional wounds, grief, trauma, anguish, scars of the heart. Its energy helps to soothe the intensity of the hurt, allowing one piece at a time to come forth, be processed, and let go of. Then, when ready, another piece will be allowed to come forth, be processed and let go of. Epidote energy is compassionate and soothing, supportive and loving, understanding and nourishing to the spirit/soul.

Lepidolite can ease allergies by soothing the reactions of the body.

Apophyllite is a wonderful crystal to carry or wear when dealing with allergy season. It helps to calm/ease symptoms, making it easier for you to get through your day.

Emeralds can soothe watery and itchy eyes.

Charge some water with Carnelian to put into your bath or rinse your hair/body after coming in from being outside. Crystal charged water will help to remove pollen and other allergens. I often put a handful of carnelian in a net bag (like a recycled net soap sponge), tie it tight and hang it below the shower head. That way it washes over the carnelian, sending the energy laced water right to me.

Rinsing your eyes with quartz charged water, or even soaking tea bags in charge water will help to sooth those watery, itchy eyes. You can also use quartz charged water to steam your face which will help to unclog those sinuses and rinse away pollen.

And this next suggestion is not crystal related at all, but fascinated me, so let me include it here-If you are a fan of Japanese cuisine, you have seen those green peas coated with wasabi? It is suggested that snacking on wasabi or other horseradish condiment can help to alleviate allergy symptoms.

So, a few remedies to help you get through the worst of the achoo’s. If nothing else, keep those medical masks handy

My hand is seriously buzzing, which leads me to believe that this crystal is to be used to directly bring IN energy, increasing our own energy, as opposed to sending it out. In other words, this is a crystal to use when wanting to reach and maintain a higher vibration. Indeed, an Angelic, Divine vibration. It is to be used for the highest work.

And yes, while this might sound strange, I have learned to just listen and say word for word what comes or describe exactly what I see. The visual and the words that come to me now, are from the very first Star Trek movie (yes, I am a Geek)………”to touch the creator, to become one with the Creator.” What this crystal says to me is that the creator and the created are the same. We can connect to this energy at will. Cryolite increases and expands our energy field towards this purpose.

Cryolite is very much a love stone. It will draw in Divine, Unconditional Love energy into the crown, through the third eye, and into the heart, helping to remove blocked energy and clear the clutter. This crystal is healing energy and can easily be used on all levels. I have often described Selenite as “Christ Consciousness”. Cryolite carries the same type of energy, intensified.

Cryolite is Universal Energy. It would be amazing to work with when manifesting. “State it to create it” takes on a HUGE meaning here when working with Cryolite.

Cryolite would be an amazing Dream partner as well. The connection when in the state of sleep, would be strong, unencumbered by ego or conscious thought. The information that could be achieved in this state, with the proper practice and continued work…may be nothing short of astounding.

And just for the record? My hand is still buzzing just as intently as when I first held this piece over an hour ago.
