Copyright 2007 Below is a basic list by Chakra and color, to get you started. As you continue working with the stones, you will want to include others that resonate for you. You will also notice some colors blend over into the next chakra area, which is a normal occurrence when working with energy and color . Color plays an important role in Energy work and healing. Here is a simplified list of the major colors and their meanings: White-White heals the body, mind and spirit at all levels. Increases the flow of the life force. Red--Red is the color of physical energy and health, fertility, passion and change. Orange--Orange symbolizes creativity and a sense of self. This is the color of confidence and self esteem. Yellow-- Yellow is the color of abundance, logic, memory and mind. Green-- The color green promotes love, compassion, empathy, healing and prosperity. Blue-- Blue assists with honest and open communication, promotes success and promotes calm and tranquility. Purple--The color of royalty, Purple relates to inner self, wisdom, psychic awareness, meditation and dreaming. Pink--Pink is all pervading, unconditional love, compassion and kindness. Brown--Earth elements, grounding in the physical. Black--Aids in grounding, physical healing and reduction of negative thoughts/actions.
